Our favourite way to use it
Umami Burger Bowl
- Cook or heat up your grains and legumes of choice (couscous, lentils, beans, bulgur, or store bought pulse and grain pouches all work very well).
- Chop up your favourite vegetables (tomatoes and cucumber are always a good choice).
- Wash and dry your greens (kale, baby spinach, or any salad leaf).
- Slice and pan-fry Umami Burger with a drizzle of olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. 3 minutes on each side guarantee a perfect crust.
- Assemble your bowl with grains and legumes, fresh vegetables, greens, and Umami Burger.
- Top with pickles and briny things for a kick of flavour, and a spoon of your favourite creamy element (hummus, tatziki, yogurt, or tahini), which doubles as a dressing.
- Drizzle with some olive oil and a squeeze of lemon juice.
