Our favourite way to use it

Umami Burger Bowl

  1. Cook or heat up your grains and legumes of choice (couscous, lentils, beans, bulgur, or store bought pulse and grain pouches all work very well).
  2. Chop up your favourite vegetables (tomatoes and cucumber are always a good choice).
  3. Wash and dry your greens (kale, baby spinach, or any salad leaf).
  4. Slice and pan-fry Umami Burger with a drizzle of olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. 3 minutes on each side guarantee a perfect crust.
  5. Assemble your bowl with grains and legumes, fresh vegetables, greens, and Umami Burger.
  6. Top with pickles and briny things for a kick of flavour, and a spoon of your favourite creamy element (hummus, tatziki, yogurt, or tahini), which doubles as a dressing.
  7. Drizzle with some olive oil and a squeeze of lemon juice.
